In one sign that banned-from-the-U.S. Full Tilt Poker is still alive and kicking post-Black Friday, the site announced that its new live “Russian & Ukraine Poker Series” will take place in the Ukrainian capital city of Kiev this July, September and November. The events will take place at the Rus Hotel in Kiev.
The site is promoting the series as seeing a combined prize pool of around $1 million. Satellites are running on the site twice a week on Sundays at 18:00 MSK (10:00 ET) for a $150 + $13 buy in – 5 seats guaranteed, and Wednesdays at 18:00 MSK (10:00 ET) for a $150 + $13 buy in – 3 seat guaranteed
The schedule of events for the Full Tilt Poker Russian & Ukraine Poker Series are:
July 24 – 31: $1,500
Sept 18 – 25: $1,500
Nov 18 – 27: $2,500 Grand Final
In other Full Tilt news, the site has made numerous announcements about their intention to return account funds to U.S. players, but to date no specifics have been announced about when that will happen.
